Checco Zalone includes all of Italy
I read an astonishing but checked article of the USGS, the American Association of Geologists, where we are told that all the water on Earth can be enclosed in a sphere as large as the Western USA (https: // water. usgs.gov/edu/earthwherewater.html).
At the same time a banner reminds me that tomorrow, June 3rd, is the birthday of Checco Zalone, an Italian actor.
By association of cartographic ideas, I wonder if the 8 million viewers who saw his film Sole a Catinelle can be contained on the surface of the artist's birthplace, Capurso (BA).
A short web search tells me that in a crowd, there are 4 people per square meter (http://www.sconfini.eu/attualita/59-costume-e-societa/2191-in-piazza-a-dare- i-numeri.html).
The calculations are soon made, are needed 200 hectares, compared to about 1500 available (http://www.comuni-italiani.it/072/014/) to contain all of viewers.
A rapid compute and, though incredible to say, in the 15,000,000 square meters of territory of the barese town, are welcomed (more or less comfortably :-) all 60 million Italians people!
